Hints of Fall

As I said in my last couple posts, I started to see some hints that fall is around the corner. The upper penninsula is truly beautiful in the fall with the variety of colors in the trees.

It was raining throughout the day and I looked down and saw this leaf and thought I needed a picture of it.

I like the stark red against the black pavement.

Same leaf as above but in the grass. I think I like this one a little bit better.

As I was heading back to the parking lot, I looked up at the pine trees and I liked how the beads of water were pooling at the end of the needles. So of course, I had to get a shot.
