The Horace Rackham School of Graduate Studies

Built with money from a trust given by Horace Rackham and his wife which eventually came to more than $10 million dollars. Horace Rackham was a lawyer and one of the initial stockholders of Ford Motor Company. This was eventually bought out and Rackham became a philantropist.

Ground broke on this building in 1936 and it was completed in 1938. There is a pretty nice auditorium on the inside.
