Probably one of my favorite lighthouses that I've seen is the Whitefish Point lighthouse. If I remember correctly, it is one of the oldest on Lake Superior although it is not the oldest. It is probably one of the more famous lighthouses on Lake Superior because of the Edmund Fitzgerald song. We arrived at the lighthouse around dusk, so we could see the light but there was still enough ambient light that I could get pictures.
A shot of the tower and I timed the picture so that the light would be filling the tower.
An overall shot of the tower and the lighthouse itself. You can kind of see the foghorn house to the right.
A closeup of the tower.
A shot of the tower from another angle.
