An Afternoon on Belle Isle

Decided to do something a little different today.  Well this post isn't much different I guess.  Neither is the next one but the one after that will be.  I promise.  Since Belle Isle is the starting point for one of my upcoming posts, I figured I would take a few pictures while I was there.
I'll have to try to get a picture of this flagpole in the spring.  They put a little clock in the hill and there are usually flowers.
The Scott fountain was looking particularly cool.
It was a little hairy getting to it though, as you can see by the level of snow.
 Another angle of the fountain.
I was trying to get it in a different light.
The casino that isn't a normal casino.
 The benefactor that wasn't loved.
Another angle of the fountain.  I tried to get it over the fence.  Hope it turned out okay.
 The Nancy Brown Peace Carillon.
 The Conservatory dome.
The Yacht Club.  I hear that they are working on this.
My favorite view of the Detroit Skyline.
