A Brief Stop at the Ann Arbor Airport

As I was heading home from work tonight, I saw this guy coming in for a landing, so I stopped at a spot where I could take pictures.
I wasn't sure what kind of aircraft it was as I was taking pictures but I looked it up when I got home.  I found out that it was a Cessna 400.
Originally developed by Columbia Aircraft as the Columbia 400.  It was derived from the Columbia 300 which itself was derived from the Lancair ES Kit Aircraft.
The plane is powered by a Continental TSIO-550-C engine which is rated at 310 horsepower.  This gives it a speed of almost 200 knots.  The aircraft was introduced in 2004.
Originally built in Oregon but production was moved to Kansas in 2009.
It is now marketed as the Cessna TTx because it is twin turbocharged.  I will have to say that it is a pretty cool looking aircraft.
