A Speeding Huron Belle

As I was waiting for the next ship, I caught pictures of the pilot boat.
I presume that the Huron Belle was delivering a pilot the Federal Kivalina (which will be in an upcoming post).
Salt Water Vessels on the Great Lakes are required to have pilots to take them through certain points.  I believe one pilot is required from Duluth to the Soo.  Another will take them from the Soo to Port Huron.  And then another from Port Huron to the Welland Canal and so on.
It's pretty amazing to think of the infrastructure used for shipping on the Great Lakes.
