The Woman's Life Insurance Society

Another neat building in Port Huron is the Woman's Life Insurance Society Building.  I've passed it a number of times but I never really focused on it before.  It looks like there is some pretty cool architecture in Port Huron but that of course means that I have to stop and pay attention to it.
In 1892, the Woman's Benefit Association was founded by a 25 year old school teacher named Bina West.
I believe this building was built in 1917.
There are some pretty architectural details on the building itself.
I kind of wish I would have had this door a little straighter.  I guess I'll have to try this again with better weather.
Some more of the details on the building.
