Pittsfield Township - The Old Hickory Trailhead

I decided to stop at the pair of parks that are fairly close to where I work.  For all the time these have been around, I've never really stopped at them.

 The first was the Old Hickory Trail Head on Textile Avenue.  It is a part of the Pittsfield Township Preserve.  This is an effort by Pittsfield Township to preserve some of the area's character.

 This is a shot looking down Textile Road.  I kind of liked the colors I saw.

 The Old Hickory Trail Head was built in 2011 and is one of the newer additions to the Pittsfiled Township Park System.

This is the start of the trail but I didn't go much further so I'm not sure what lies ahead but I will check it out someday.
