Another Salty...the Federal Rhine
This would be my second to last ship of the weekend. I already posted the shots of the Herbert C. Jackson that I took after this ship passed.
This ship would be the Federal Rhine which is operated by Federal Navigation out of Montreal.
She was built in 1997 and is 656 feet long. She can carry a little over 34,000 tons of cargo.
I like the looks of the salties because they tend to be more colorful than the lakers. It also seems that there is some variation on them.
I think she was headed up to Duluth but I'm not sure what she was picking up.
And she heads off to the Locks.
