Over the weekend, I decided to head over to the Canadian Warplane Museum, Niagara Falls and the Welland Canal. Since I got up early enough and I saw a couple of ships on AIS, I decided to take M-29 to Port Huron. The first one I saw was the Algoma Olympic.
She's been on this blog before, so I'm not going to cover her history that much. Just go over the pictures.
A closeup of her pilothouse. She almost reminds me of a couple of the 1000 footers.
A shot of her bow.
Sadly, the sun wasn't terribly cooperative for me.
For this shot, I was almost shooting directly into it but I still kind of like the shot.
Another shot of her pilothouse.
And she moves on to other places.
