As we were about to leave, I looked over to the east and saw another ship rounding the passage out of Sault Ste Marie. At that distance I couldn't tell what kind of ship it was. Turns out that it was the Pathfinder and she has made an appearance on this blog
before.
I am not really a huge fan of the tug/barge combinations that are becoming prevalent on the lakes but I guess it gives a chance for a ship to have an extended career. I wish the tug part looked a little better though.

We didn't stay long enoug h to see her off. But this isn't a bad shot.
