The Edwin H. Gott

A little further downriver and docked at the Steel Mill was the Edwin H. Gott  which is also making her debut appearance here on Michigan Exposures.
She was the eighth 1000 footer to enter service on the Great Lakes.  She was built by Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin.

She is owned by the Great Lakes Fleet and can carry 74,100 tons of cargo.  She has the largest horsepower engine on the Lakes at 19,500 horsepower.
