The Burns Harbor

As the first ship was passing under the Bridge, I looked over to the west and noticed another ship approaching it. It was a little hazy at first, so I couldn't quite make out what she but as she approached, I found out she was the Burns Harbor. So making her debut on this blog is the Burns Harbor....The Burns Harbor was the tenth 1000 footer to enter service on the Great Lakes. She was constructed in 1979 by the Bay Shipbuilding Company in Sturgeon Bay, WI. She was owned by the Bethlehem Steel Company at the time.
She can carry 78,850 tons of cargo but because of her length she can't go through the St. Lawrence Canal. She mostly carries Iron Ore.
The ship as she approaches the Bridge.
She is now owned by the American Steamship Company and sails her normal routes.
