A Quick Trip to Point Iroquois

I thought that I had plenty of time on Friday afternoon before the next ship.  After the tour of the Coast Guard station, I thought we could head over to Tahquamenon Falls.  I ended up taking my normal route from the Soo over there which meant that I would pass Point Iroquois.

 I think Point Iroquois ranks up there on my list of favorite lighthouses.  It might not be so much the lighthouse as the location.

 If you take a walk behind the lighthouse, you can sometimes see ships as they enter the St Mary's River. 

 And it's a fairly nice looking lighthouse but it is looking like it needs some love.
