A Stop at Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids

So I decided to stop at Gerald R. Ford Airport on the way back.  I had heard that they've doing a little work on their spotters area.  I'll have to admit it was pretty nice.
I can't resist of getting picture of beauty.  And it's cool that she's wearing Fed Ex colors.
First up was a Cessna Citation.
She was on her way to Kenosha Regional Airport in Wisconsin.
 A Skywest CRJ-200 was arriving from O'Hare.
And this ERJ-135 was on its way to O'Hare.
And this Cessna Citation was on its way to Colorado Springs.
This is one of the reasons why I like taking pictures here.  I don't have too many spots at Metro where I can get the tower in a shot.  This CRJ-200 is on her way to Minneapolis.
 Next up was an MD-88
 She arrived from Atlanta.
This Allegiant Airbus A320 was on its way to Punta Gorda Florida.
This MD-88 was on its way to Detroit.
It spent 10 minutes taxiing to its takeoff point.  It reached a maximum altitude of 17,000 feet but I can't imagine that was too long as the flight itself was a little over 30 minutes.
But it was kind of cool to catch a plane heading to Detroit instead of one heading from it.
And a shot as it climbs into the Wild Blue Yonder.

I thought you would have a picture of the spotters area. Although the plane pictures make up for the oversight.
