A Nice Day for Spotting

 As you may have noticed, I haven't been taking many pictures lately.  Between the weather and being under the weather, I really haven't felt like going out to take pictures.  I almost fell into the same trap, but I took a look outside and wasn't going to let that happen.  The sun was shining, and it was in the upper 50s.  And if I look at the extended weather, that might not be the case later this week.

There wasn't much for me to take pictures of.  Most of the ships are still in layup and I didn't feel like driving up north, so I headed over to the airport.  The sun was perfect for that.

First up, a 737 coming in from Miami.  This is the Spirit of Seattle 737 for Delta.  I kind of wish Delta would do more of this.

It was followed by a CRJ-550 coming in from Newark.

It seemed like it was going to be a CRJ day as this CRJ-900 came in from Clarksburg, West Virginia.  Not sure why though.

Of course, a plane that dragged me out.

This 757-300 was coming in from Fort Myers.

And because I love them so.

My last plane of the day was a 757-300 from Fort Lauderdale.

I can't get enough of this plane.

Because I think it looks beautiful.

Especially straight out.

With some clouds.

I hope to not be as much of a stranger.

Some Planes Flying Over Riverside

 The winds were such that the planes were flying near Riverside yesterday.  When I'd hear one, I would take a picture.

This is an A320 that is coming in from Philadelphia.

This A320 was coming in from Fort Myers.

This is a Spirit Airlines A321neo.  It was coming in from Cancun.

Sunday Afternoon Spotting

 I was going to watch the Lions this afternoon but as it looked like they had things well in hand, I decided to head to the airport to take pictures.  It looked like a nice day for planewatching with some cool planes coming in.

First up was an A321 that was coming in from Bean Town.

I'm not sure where this Cessna Citation was coming from, but it was pretty cool to catch.

It was coming in from Frankfurt.

Apparently, it was A330 day.

This plane was coming back from London.

An A320 that was coming back from Palm Beach.  If you look in the bottom right hand corner, you can see a 757 in the downwind leg of the approach pattern.  I think that was the one coming in from Atlanta.

It was flying in from Amsterdam.

But this one was a 757-300.

It was coming in from Orlando.

I'm pretty sure this was a repositioning flight.
