Once a month, one of the local gaming groups hosts a gaming day at the Corner Brewery. I've been meaning to go to it for a while but generally I try to do photography on the weekend. I decided to head over there today.
The Corner Brewery was established in the former offices of the Motor Wheel plant next door. The solar panels on top are used to power some of the brewing operations.
An old truck.
The entrance.
I decided to have a stout today.
These were used in one of the games I played.

Beer!
On some Wednesday nights, I head over to the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti for Trivia with a friend. It is pretty fun. The food there is okay but the beer is worth coming back for.
This is a mug of Strawberry Blonde. I think it is one of their summer brews and it is pretty good. You can taste a little hint of the strawberries.

Another shot after I got inside.

The Beer Mug in Black in White
Next I converted one of the beer mug pictures into black and white.
I really like the look of this one because I bumped the contrast up a bit. Almost gives it a film noir look.
What do you think?

A Mug of Beer
As I said in the last post, I was heading over to the Corner Brewery for trivia. The Corner Brewery brews their own beer and does a pretty good job at that.
I forget whether this was the Sacred Cow or the Bollywood Blonde but either way, it was pretty good. What I really liked though was how the light was shining on the glass. I really liked the stark shadows.
So I tried from a couple of different angles. I kind of like this shot.
But I think I like this one even more.
