The Federal Kushiro Unloading

So I made it downtown and I still had a little time to kill.  I saw that there was a ship unloading, so I got my drone out.

The Federal Kushiro was unloading.
As I type, she I heading up to Thunder Bay.
I'm not sure what she is going to pick up there.
Anyway, it is kind of neat to see ships from this view.
I'm not used to the Boblo building being gone though.
Another angle.
One thing nice about taking pictures of ships at dock is that I get a chance to mess with different angles.
And I think I like the drone best from a lower angle.
Pulled out a little bit.
Heading back.
I took a couple pictures with my regular camera.
A little dusty.

The Federal Kushiro Makes an Appearance

Next up is the Federal Kushiro.
The Federal Kushiro has been on this blog before but I don't remember if I caught her in action or not.  It's very possible that I just have pictures of her at the dock near Riverside Park.
I prefer moving ships to docked ships, especially when I'm taking pictures.
The pilothouse is not a bad place to catch a picture of a ship but you have to be careful about the reflections.
And one more shot as she moves on.  I believe she was heading to Montreal.

Following Closely...the Federal Kushiro

The Federal Danube was being followed closely by her fleet cousin, the Federal Kushiro
I say fleet cousin because the Federal Kushiro is owned outright by Fednav Limited.
She has never appeared on this blog before but many of her sisters and cousins have.
Constructed in 2003 as well.  She is only 624 feet long though and carries about 5,000 tons less than her fleet cousin.
She will be following the Danube for a while as she will be heading to Duluth as well.  I presume she will be picking up what the Federal Danube does not.
And she heads for the upper lakes.
