The Federal Welland in Waiting

One of the nice things about Del Ray is that you get a nice view of the river west of the Ambassador Bridge.  When there are ships docked in either Windsor or Detroit, this is usually where they dock.
There is a pretty sizable grain elevator in the area.  Generally, the ships will stop there.  Sometimes, they wait nearby.  That was the case with the Federal Welland.

Ships Anchored on the Detroit River

The Detroit River is a fairly busy river.  There are usually ships docked.
The Happy River is a Dutch Registered ship.  I think she took windmill turbines somewhere and is now waiting for grain.
This is one of the Federal Navigation Ships but I don't remember which one.  I do like the looks of these ships though.
This one was the Federal Welland.
