The Osogovo Loading

I saw there was a ship kind of behind the CSL St. Laurent.  I wanted to catch her so I headed over to Del Ray.
It was the Osogovo which belongs to Navigation Maritime Bulgare out of Bulgaria.  I assume she is loading wheat.

Visiting the Harbor Beach Lighthouse

After catching the Lee A. Tregurtha, I decided to head up M-25 to follow the coastline.
As I arrivied at Harbor Beach, I saw a ship on the horizon.  I think it would be too long before I could get a shot of her with the lighthouse.
But I couldn't pass up an opportunity to get a shot of the lighthouse itself.
The ship in question was the Osogovo.  She is owned by Navigation Maritime Bulgare out of Varna, Bulgaria.  I think I've seen other ships from this company.
The Osogovo makes her way gracefully out on Lake Huron.
The Osogovo is 610 feet long and can carry 30,000 tons of cargo.  She was built in 2010.
She is on her way to Thunder Bay, Ontario.  I presume that she will pick up grain there.

Next Up, the Vitosha

For the next ship, I decided to head over to Riverside Park.  Someone said that they took down the "park closed" signs.  Well, the signs were down but the parking lot was still blocked by giant blocks.  And even if it weren't blocked off, it still looked kind of treacherous.  At anyrate, I wanted to catch the Westcott.
Next on the list was the Vitosha.  She is owned by Navigation Martime Bulgare out of Varna, Bulgaria.  She is one of several salties that travel on the Great Lakes.
I think the Westcott was transferring a pilot because I think I saw someone else in her when she returned.
That happens fairly often on the Lakes though.
Here she is set off against the Ambassador Bridge.
She is also headed up to Thunder Bay, where she will pick up a load of grain to return to Europe.
One more shot of her.
