Cherry Blossoms

Another thing that caught my eye was a group of cherry trees (well I think they were cherry trees).

Like I said in one of my earlier posts, I was hoping to get over to Belle Isle to get pictures of the cherry blossoms there.  When I attempted to go there, the part of the island where they are was blocked off due to the upcoming race.  It was actually pretty annoying.  I think I could have walked over there but I'm not sure about that.  I seriously wonder how long the DNR will tolerate the race but we'll see.

 While these aren't as nice as those cherry blossoms, they aren't bad.  I really like the pinks in them.
