Leg's Inn

Located in Cross Village is Leg's Inn. It was established in 1921 by a Polish Immigrant named Stanley Smolak. He loved Northern Michigan and decided to set up an Inn there.

The Inn is built of stone and is decorated with driftwood sculptures that he built himself. It features Polish cuisine but has American food too. It is pretty good stuff. It is still owned by the same family.

This is the sign announcing the place.

This is one of the totem poles that Stanley created.

An Indian Head carving.

The door.

The place is so named because of the legs surrounding the roof.

A couple more totem poles.

A view of the front. It was pretty busy.

A painting of the founder.

It overlooks Lake Michigan and gives a nice view.
