The Old Mackinac Light

Although it is not part of my 12 Months Series, it's where I normally take pictures of the Bridge and it is one of my favorite lighthouses because of the castle qualities. So therefore, pictures get taken of it.

A shot as I'm coming around the park.

A shot with the flag blowing to the side. As you notice, the flag isn't the standard 50 star flag. It is a 40 star flag which would have been the flag in 1890 when the lighthouse was built.

This is probably my favorite angle of the lighthouse. You can see the castle like qualities and there are some trees in the picture.
