This is another ship that I only get to see when I'm up at the Soo.
The Joseph L. Block mainly stays in Lake Michigan. I think she usually goes between the Dolemite Dock and the stoneports along Lake Michigan.
Occasionally, she will make a trip up to Duluth. I think that is what she was doing this time. I love the color pattern of this particular fleet but I rarely get to see them. One of their ships is in longterm layup. The other makes a similar run to the Block.
She is a beautiful ship though.
Especially as she is catch the light from the sunset.
A shot of her pilothouse.
A closeup of her pilothouse.
And she continues on to the Locks.
