Catching the Westcott in Action

One of the things I like about going down to Riverside Park is the fact that I get a chance to catch the Westcott in action.

 The Westcott is of course the mailboat.  She is used to deliver other things as well.

 The Westcott leaves the ship after making a delivery.  It is a noisy affair as the Westcott blows her horn that she is ready to leave.  The ship acknowledges it.

 I don't think I ever noticed the Naval jack on the front before.

 She's a pretty nice looking boat.
