A Frosty Morning

As I was heading into work this morning, there was a layer of frost on stuff.  I was hoping that I could catch it on some nicer stuff.

 If  I take the dirt road into work, I normally pass these and I was hoping that there would be a layer of frost on them.  I was happy to see that was the case.

 It wasn't quite as thick as I was hoping, but it will do.  I especially like the little crystals.

 I was glad I was able to find different backgrounds.

 There was a fence across the street and the light from the sun was hitting it just right, unfortunately, I couldn't quite get the right angle.

Until I got to this fence.

A Frosty Morning

I don't know exactly what the temperature was this morning but it was cold enough for a layer of frost to form on the trees.  I was tempted to stop at the paper place again but I was running a tad on the late side.  I did however grab some pictures while I was waiting for my computer to boot up.

 I thought this tree would look frostier but I did like the way the light was shining on it, so I kept it.

 This tree had a nice layer of frost...

 So I had to use my telephoto to get some close up shots.  I kind of like this picture.

 But I like this one a little more.

 This one is kind of meh....

But I think this one captures the cold perfectly.

Here's to warmer days....

A Frost Covered Leaf

Yesterday was the Eastern Michigan Vs. Western Michigan game at Western.  I ended up riding with the person who runs the Eagle Totem blog (who I photograph for).  It was pretty fun and it was nice to talk with him. 

There were still some leaves on his front yard and it was still early enough that there was some frost on them.  I like the effect of frost, so I took a picture.
