A couple of ships

As I was heading back to Michigan, I saw some ships down in the Maumee River, so I decided to see if I could get a picture of them.

The American Republic was built in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin in 1981. She is one of the more nimble ships and can pilot the Cayuhoga River. The pilothouse is located in the back so that the crew can see the ship better.

This is the American Valor built in 1953 in Lorain, Ohio and is still being used.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the greatest shots of these ships. I found a spot that might be useful but I didn't feel like exploring it more.
