The Federal Franklin Makes an Appearance

 Next up is a ship that is making her first appearance on this blog.

I'm not sure where she was coming from.

But she is heading to Piombino, Italy which is on the western coast of Italy and is roughly due east of Corsica.

She makes the turn for the path under the Ambassador Bridge.

Like, I said, I'm not sure where she was coming from.  If I had to guess, it was Thunder Bay and she is carrying a load of grain.

As you can see, there was a little ice on the river, and I feel that makes for a nice shot.

I like the reflection in the water.

A relatively clean shot.

She approaches the Bridge.

I like this shot.

But I think I might like this shot better.

She passes the Bridge.

And continues on her way.

According to AIS, she will not be in Italy until January 10.  I wish the crew a safe voyage.
