I went down to Detroit today to catch a couple of ships. There was one I really wanted to catch but circumstances prevented that.
First I went to Riverside Park but it was closed, so I went to Belle Isle. As I was heading to Belle Isle, I saw one of the ships that I thought I was going to catch pass. But that was okay, it was a Fednav ship and I have plenty of pictures of one of those.
This ship was slowing down as I got to Belle Isle, so I figured she might be heading to the anchorage. It turns out that she was.
On one side, she was getting fueled.
On the other, she was getting pilot change from the M.S. Westcott. I think she moved after I was down there because I think she's docked at Nicholson now.
Anyway, the Tufty was built in 2009 in China. She is owned by Navarone and is registered in Cyprus.
