The Johanna G Downbound

It was a pretty nice day and it was pretty warm compared to the past week or so.  That kind of gave me the itch to go out.  However, it was warm enough that some of my pictures had signs of heat haze.  I was kind of surprised.  Oh well, the joys of ship photography, I guess.

First up is the Johanna G.
She is related to another ship that was on this blog named the Johanna C.
She is owned by Parakou Shipping out of Hong Kong.
She is registered in Portugal.
It turns out that this isn't her first appearance on this blog.  Before 2018, she was known as the Redhead.
I know she has been on this blog at least once under that name.  I don't thinks she's appeared here under this name.
I'm not sure where she was coming from but she was heading to Montreal.
She appears before the Ambassador Bridge.
At this point, she was getting a pilot from the Westcott but it was on the other side, so I couldn't see it.
the tower in her center.
It is getting close to the time of year when the Welland Canal is closed, so I should be seeing a few salties in the next couple of weeks.
She continues on her way.
One more shot of her as she approaches the Gordie Howe Bridge.
