The Pere Marquette in Black and White

If you've been following this blog for any length of time, you know that I like trains.  I figured this particular engine would be a good candidate for black and white.  So it was off to Lightroom for a little touching up.

I will have to admit, there is something special about a steam locomotive.  The huffing and puffing makes it sound like a person.  The train almost feels alive.  There is a different smell as well.  I wish that there were more steam locomotives around.  I will definately have to take a ride on this one.

For now, I will be content to look at the pictures.
