And Then There Was the Manitoba

As I was in the Dossin, I looked at the AIS map they had there and I saw that the Manitoba was much closer than I thought she was.  So I headed back to the Rocky Beach to catch pictures of her.

 Since she's a classic laker, she's another of my favorites.  Especially since she's a straight decker (meaning she doesn't have a boom).

 She is coming from Thunder Bay and I assume she's carrying grain.  I'm not sure where she is headed though.

 It's kind of nice to see a ship without a boom, but I suspect that means we wont see her much longer.

 I kind of liked the sky behind this.

 So I pulled the camera out a little bit.

And then she heads down the river.
