I was able to leave Troy a little early today and that gave me the opportunity to stop by Belle Isle, especially since I saw that the Algomarine was passing by.
I cut through the middle of the island which meant that I ended up at the Alpheus Williams statue.
I kind of liked the way the snow was draped over it.
Another angle.
Just the statue itself. The roads on Belle Isle were relatively clear.
From the front.
A cold goose.
A shot of Detroit from the fishing pier.
As I was waiting for the Algomarine, a flock of swans flew by. It's kind of peaceful while boatwatching.
