Some Milkweed and Thistle

So for my picture of the day,  I decided  wander around work today.  It was in the 20's, so it felt like a heatwave.

 In particular, I was looking at the milkweed in the back of our office.  I always think that milkweed makes a good picture.  This is the correct orientation by the way.

 I guess this is a more normal look except for the frozen seeds.

 I really like this one.  I looks like these were trying to escape but they got caught by the freeze.

 Nearby was the thistle.  I liked the snow on the top of it.
