The fog was being particularly persistent on Saturday.
It wasn't long before my next ship appeared.
That ship was the ever lovely Herbert C. Jackson.
I'm not sure what it is about the Herbert Jackson, but I think she is a sleek looking vessel.
Maybe it's the absence of the bridge wings.
Or something else.
I think it has to do with the fact that her pilothouse looks swept back.
You can almost imagine her wanting to take off.
She wouldn't get too far after this picture. She had to drop anchor by Belle Isle because she had to wait for the Algorail to dock.
