The Constable Carriere is one of nine Hero Class patrol vessels.
She is named after Constable J.L. Francois Carriere who was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He was killed on November 30, 1997 while doing an underwater search of a vessel believed to be carrying illegal drugs. He is listed on the RCMP Roll of Honor.
She was launched in 2013 and is stationed in Sault Ste Marie.
She looks similar to the Navy Patrol Craft I saw a few years ago.
One more shot of her.
