On the same block at the Heidelberg Project is the Detroit Industrial Gallery. It is run by Tim Burke but does not have the same scale as the Heidelberg Project.
I'm not sure if he's been at this spot for 28 years or has been producing art for 28 years, that is stated on the building. It is also not a part of the Heidelberg Project. I guess at one time, he and Tyree Gupton were close but they've had a falling out.
Tim Burke will take discarded items and turn them into sculptures. I think I've seen some examples of his work around the city.
I will have to say that it is pretty cool looking.
Next to the house is a sculpture garden.
One more shot.
