The John D. Leitch Finally....

The Leitch is a ship I have been trying to see for a long time.  Ever since I caught her leaving the Soo Locks once and was hoping to get shots from other angles.
In the time since I saw her, she was sold to the Algoma Central Corporation in 2011 as part of the sale of the Seaway Marine Transport Company.  She is now sporting Algoma colors.
I think it's always cool when I can get a ship from the front.  Unfortunately, this was too far out but oh well.
As she starts to approach and I'll have to say that she is an odd looking ship.
 A better angle of her.
I tried to get a shot of her without so much clutter in the background.
She definately has an odd looking pilothouse.
From this angle she almost looks like she was punched in the bow.
Am almost straight on shot.  Sadly from this spot, I get the casino in the background.
 A sideshot of her pilothouse.
A full on side shot without too much distraction in the background.
 Her deckhouse.
As you can tell from this shot, the wind was blowing pretty well.
 The rear of her pilothouse.
Another shot of her stern.  You can see where she calls home.
 And she pulls away.
To catch the next ship, I decided to head over to Belle Isle.  I didn't want to wait around too long for her.  Here you can see the Leitch start to disappear over the horizon.
