A Fighting Falcon Flying Fast

After the bombers, there was a demonstration by an F-16.
The F-16 is also known as the Fighting Falcon and sometimes as the Viper.  It is less affectionately known as the Lawn Dart because like so many planes, it had a few growing pains.
The Falcon was the first fighter to use fly by wire.  This would send electronic signals to servos instead of using hydraulics.  This enabled the F-16 to be fairly maneuverable.
The plane is also equipped with a seat that reclines at an angle.  This helps the pilot to combat the high g's of combat flying.
It is a pretty capable aicraft.
And pretty cool looking.
