As I said in my post about the Fisher Building, I was going to just do a shot down Woodward again. However, since I stopped at the Fisher Building, I really didn't need to do that but as I've said elsewhere in this blog, I like the view of Downtown Detroit from here, so here it is.
Woodward has a number of firsts. It was the first street to be paved with concrete when it was paved from 6 to 7 mile. It used to be US-10, until US-10 was moved to the Lodge. At that point Woodward was designated as M-1 by the State of Michigan.
Woodward extends from Detroit until Pontiac.
