Fort Gratiot Light on a Rainy Day

I decided to make a brief stop at the lighthouse which was kind of cool because I picked up a guidebook to the lighthouses on the Great Lakes.

 This lighthouse has been on this blog before but it is still pretty cool.  I am glad they decided to put some loving into her because she's a much nicer looking lighthouse now.

 Built in 1829, she is the first lighthouse in the State of Michigan.  She looks pretty good for being almost 200 years old.
