The Alpena and the Mackinac Bridge

As I was approaching Mackinaw City, I looked over towards the lake.  I wasn't sure if I would see any ships at the Mackinac Bridge because I didn't check AIS.  As I looked, I saw that the Alpena was making her way towards the Bridge.

 So I went over to my usual spot to catch pictures of her as she approached the Bridge.

 She passes by the channel.

 She passed by the iconic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

This isn't quite a channel but it almost looks like it could be.

I think that is St Ignace in the background.

 She gets closer to the Bridge.

 She's almost under the Bridge.
