Catching the Queen

I wanted to go catch a ship today and while I was heading over to Detroit, I realized that Lufthansa flight 442 would be landing at about the time I was passing Romulus.

 I ended up stopping at my spot for landings from the north and east.  Sadly, they ended up having the Lufthansa flight going over to the other runway.

 It's not quite the shots I wanted, but I think my new lens is up to the task.

 This is the flight coming from Frankfurt Germany.  I have a feeling the Queen's days are numbered here too.

So I will try to catch her when I can.
