Dredging the Area

While I was at Grand Haven yesterday, I noticed a boat off to the side of the other pier.

 It turns out that it is the Dredge Morgan Gale.

 I'm not sure how old this vessel is though.

 But basically it clears the bottom of the channel of sediment that might accumulate there.

I'm not sure what they do with it at that point though.
