An Egret on the Saginaw River

After catching the Jackson, I decided I wanted to head up to Bay City to get some pictures of the Alpena while she was unloading at the cement plant.

As I parked my car, I saw this guy standing in the river.
I carefully got out of my car so that I could get pictures of him.
I will have to say that these are pretty cool looking birds.
He stayed here for quite a while.
And I was able to get more pictures of him than expected.
Honestly, one would have been more than expected.
One more.
