A Killdeer

As I was getting out of the car this morning to go into the office, I looked over to the side and I saw this bird. I wasn't quite sure what it was so I decided to look it up.
I found out that this is a killdeer. These are migratory birds that work their way to the northern areas in the summer and head back south in the summer. I've probably seen these birds before but I don't remember it.

I kind of wish I had gotten him in flight shortly after this picture. Oh well.
