The St. Joseph Lighthouse

Next up on my trip was the St. Joseph Lighthouse.  I was hoping to see it with ice around it.

 You can see just how much sand blows around here.  The snow is covered with it.

 I didn't see as much ice as I was hoping to see though.  The water might have froze before the winds kicked up.

 It still looks pretty cool though.

 And when you look at the ice covered pier, you realize why there is a catwalk.

 The snow hills were pretty high.

 Like I said, it was fairly warm yesterday, so there was a little water on the pier.

 Then I decided to head over to the beach to get other angles of the lighthouse.
