A Pair of Planes

When I hear a plane, I can't help but turn up and look.

 First up was a seaplane.  This is a kit aircraft built by a company called Progressive Aerodyne and it is called a SeaRey.  For some reason it reminds me of a Catalina.  It is powered by a Rotax engine which can be 64 to 115, depending on which version you buy.  It can carry one passenger in addition to the pilot.

And this was a United CRJ heading into Grand Rapids, I think.
