The Appledore IV on the Saginaw River

I saw a post on Facebook today that the Viking longship would be arriving in Bay City at 9:00 P.M. or so.  I figured that would give me plenty of time to drive up to Bay City to catch her, since I figured I wouldn't see her until Saturday.
As I was waiting at the park in Essexville to catch the Viking Ship, the Appledore IV made an appearance.
She is one of two sail ships that regularly stays in Bay City.  She is used for sail training, dinner cruises and a few other things.  She is a two masted schooner and was built in Palm Coast Florida in 1989.
She can carry up to 52 passengers and can be manned by a minimum crew of 4.
Like many of the vessels I've seen, she also has a backup engine.
