Next up a Eurocopter

Next up was another surprise aircraft.

 This is a Eurocopter AS350 Ecureuil (French for squirrel).  It was originally designed and built in France by Aerospatiale and Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters).  In the United States it was marketed as the AStar.  The first flight was on June 27, 1974 and the first production model was introduced a year later.

It is capable of a cruise speed of 152 miles per hour.  It has a crew of 1 and can carry 5 passengers.  It is still in production and 3,590 have been produced.
